Who runs the site
Foundlab in Sydney operates Watch Prices. Contact offers@watchprices.com.au about this page or your information.
Price lookups
The valuation tool sends the selected model, reference and set to our website to look up observed prices. It does not request your name or contact details. Hosting infrastructure may record standard access information such as an IP address and requested page.
Email enquiries
You can prepare an email draft locally and send it using your own email app. If online submission is available and you choose Send enquiry, your name, email, optional phone and suburb, watch details and selected photos are sent to Foundlab through Vercel and Bento. We show consent before submission. No dealer receives the enquiry and it does not subscribe you to marketing.
Dan uses enquiry information to respond. Enquiry emails arrive through Google Workspace. Your email provider also handles messages under its own terms. Avoid sending identity documents, payment details, full serial numbers or unredacted ownership records.
Photos and storage
Selecting photos resizes them locally and does not upload them. Online submission uploads the resized copies to private Vercel storage in Sydney. Dan receives photo links that expire after seven days. Anyone you share such a link with can view it until expiry. Downloaded copies and emails may remain in the recipient's inbox.
The website schedules deletion of stored enquiries and photos within 30 days. Delivery receipts are kept for the same period to prevent duplicate emails. Short-lived, hashed request identifiers limit repeated submissions. We do not store raw IP addresses in these records. Hosting providers may keep their own access logs.
If you use the email-app option, attach photos yourself. Location metadata is removed from resized copies; visible details remain, so inspect each photograph before sending it.
Analytics
The public watchprices.com.au site uses Google Analytics to measure page views and completed price lookups. It can use cookies and process device and usage information. We exclude form values and URL queries from the events we send, and disable advertising personalisation. Preview sites do not load analytics. Browser privacy controls or a tracking blocker can limit collection.
Email updates
When you use the monthly index signup form, your email address and consent are sent directly to Bento. We use that record to send the Watch Prices index. You can unsubscribe through the link in an index email or contact us. Enquiry emails are not added to this list. Bento processes subscription information under its own privacy terms.
Access and deletion
Email offers@watchprices.com.au to ask about information you sent, correct it or request deletion. We will explain any information that needs to be retained for a specific obligation. We do not sell enquiry details.
